Ron Paul for President
I know, it’s coveted, Libertarian Girl’s official endorsement for President of the United States, and the candidates have been courting me almost as hard as they have James Dobson and the teachers’ unions. I’ve made a decision. Smaller government, liberty, free markets, sound money with no inflation tax, a respect for the Constitution and our Founders, an actual (not just rhetorical) end to the war in Iraq– who else can come close to what Ron Paul can bring to the table as President of the United States in 2008? No one can come close.
When a pack of wolves tries to surround a lone bison, the bison scares off the wolves by simply standing its ground. This is a situation similar to Ron Paul surrounded by the other Republicans (and Democrats, for that matter) in the presidential race and his colleagues in Congress every time they vote:
Here’s what people are saying about Ron Paul:
John McLaughlin awarded Ron Paul “Person of the Year.” “The physician-politician, he injected the Presidential campaign with a dose of truth serum. Paul’s straight talk on Iraq, and his straight talk on the Constitution, as [Pat] Buchanan pointed out, and the limits of government have made him an Internet phemonema. In fact, Paul has become an independent force in the nation’s life.” — December 22, 2007
“Every American who cares about the importance of debating issues owes him a debt of thanks.”– Charlottesville Daily Progress, December 5, 2007
